IAFF Port Moody Firefighters represents firefighters proudly serving and protecting the citizens of Port Moody, BC. We are Local 2399 of the International Association of Fire Fighters, an organization now over 300,000 members strong. In addition to minimizing the loss of life and property from fire and natural or man-made emergencies, the department also conducts public education, safety and fire prevention programs. The firefighters of Port Moody are proud of their contribution to charitable organizations in their community, and at the provincial and national levels. All fundraising and public appearances by firefighters is happily volunteered time.

Pacific Coast Terminals Co. Ltd. (PCT) is a modern, automated marine bulk terminal located 19 kilometers east of downtown Vancouver, B.C. at the head of Burrard Inlet in Port Moody - The Port of Port Moody. Trains deliver sulphur, canola, potash and ethylene glycol for shipment to ports around the world. Our 43-hectare (108-acre) terminal has the flexibility to load these raw products directly into ships, or to store them temporarily on site. Stored sulphur and potash are automatically sorted by type into windrow piles, while ethylene glycol and canola are held in sealed storage tanks.
