Donate and make a difference. Please only donate items that are clean and in working condition.

We are not able to repair items and have to pay for
disposal.

Donations are accepted at the back of our store. Please rind the doorbell for assistance.

Donations Hours are: Tuesday to Saturday 10:00am-3:00pm.

Please note that if donations exceed our storage space, we may have to stop donations temporarily. We highly recommend giving us a call ahead of time to see if we are still able to accept donations for the day. Thrift Store volunteers would appreciate if donations were put into bags/boxes that are easy to lift and carry.

AUTOMOBILE PARTS tires, mufflers, fenders etc.

BED & BED PARTS hide-a-beds, bunk beds, mattresses, box springs, waterbeds, coil springs, pillows

CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS lumber, pipes, flooring, tubs, cabinets, carpet, doors, windows, faucets, etc.

DAMAGED FURNITURE torn, soiled or in need of repair

FLAMMABLE PRODUCTS any items that operate on or contain fuel including gas cans, propane cylinders, barbeques, lawn mowers, weed trimmers, camp stoves, tiki torches, etc.

HAZARDOUS MATERIALS batteries, paint, chemicals, cleaning products, poisons, any liquids, etc.

INFANT PRODUCTS car seats, cribs, bassinets & related products, used stuffed animals (note: accepting these items may be restricted by law)

LARGE APPLIANCES & FURNITURE refrigerators, dishwashers, furnaces, stoves, washing machines, dining tables, couches etc.

LIGHTING we do not accept hard wired lighting fixtures

MAGAZINES, TEXTBOOKS, ENCYCLOPEDIAS, FOREIGN LANGUAGE BOOKS - Also no National Geographic / Reader's Digests

MARINE VESSELS boats, canoes, kayaks, etc.

TELEVISIONS, COMPUTER MONITORS

Our Donation Hours:

Crossroads associates have the right to refuse acceptable/unacceptable items.

From time to time the donation centre may be temporarily closed if we cannot accommodate any more donations due to lack of space. Thank you for not leaving donations outside of our building when we are closed.

Sadly, these items are generally ransacked and/or damaged by the weather and therefore are no longer saleable.

Thinking about donating books?

We ask that donated books are in good condition.

In addition, our Thrift Store does not accept magazines (including National Geographic, Reader's Digest), textbooks, encyclopedias or foreign language books.

Alternative nearby drop-off locations: Eagle Ridge Hospital Auxiliary Thrift Shop, Salvation Army Thrift Store, or Big Brother book bins in Mariner Pub parking lot.
