Crossroads Hospice Society provides compassionate care and support to people with life-limiting illnesses and their families, and offers support to individuals who are grieving the loss of a loved one. Founded over 31 years ago, Crossroads Hospice Society serves the communities of Anmore, Belcarra, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam and Port Moody through a 10-bed Hospice Residence, our Community Grief and Loss Support Centre and our Thrift Store. We are currently seeking candidates to serve on our volunteer Board of Directors. Our Board sets strategic direction and assumes financial and governance responsibilities for Crossroads and is guided by the organization’s values of compassion, respect, dignity, integrity and excellence. This is an exciting time to join Crossroads as we embark on the development of a new Strategic Plan which will guide our future direction. If you have strong team skills, understand non-profit governance, can contribute through thoughtful collaboration and consideration, have a strategic perspective gained through a combination of experience and education and want to be involved in an organization that is having a positive impact on the community, this may be an opportunity for you.
