Support for the Workplace

We spend a tremendous amount of time with our co-workers. We work and laugh together. We share our days’ experiences, successes and failures together. Often, our co-workers become friends. We also develop close bonds with long-term clients we serve. Yet, when there is a death of an employee, co-worker or client, many feel as if they don’t have permission to grieve.

Grief in the workplace can feel foreign and unnatural. Becoming a grief-acknowledging workplace will allow employees to feel supported, which influences their well-being and capacity to move through their grief journey.

If you are looking to bring grief support into your workplace, our Bereavement Coordinators provide:

  • Outreach support sessions following a death
  • Customized grief and loss education presentations
