Celebrating Our Crossroads Hospice Society Volunteers

Celebrating Our Crossroads Hospice Society Volunteers

This week at Crossroads Hospice Society, we are celebrating National Volunteer Week 2021!

Words cannot express how much we value and care for our volunteers; they are truly the heart of Crossroads Hospice Society.

On Monday April 19th, we hosted our first ever safe and socially distanced outdoor Volunteer Appreciation Drive Thru Event to show our heartfelt appreciation! We invited all of our volunteers to come by the parking lot at All Saints Parish to connect with the Crossroads team and receive their appreciation gift.

We are grateful to have dedicated individuals donate their valuable time and energy. It is thanks to our volunteers that we are able to provide support and care to our community. From giving a few hours a week to making a life-long commitment, our volunteers help us support patients, families and clients. Volunteers provide support, companionship and comfort, support fundraising efforts and operations of our Thrift Store, as well as help in administration roles.
A huge thank you to all our volunteers who are continuing to support and care for our community and Crossroads Hospice Society during these times. We also can’t wait until we can welcome back a lot of our volunteers to Crossroads Hospice Society!
